How accurate is the body scan?

FitCommit uses computer vision on three photos to estimate body fat percentage. In our testing the results track closely with gold standard methods when the photo guide is followed.

What photos do I need to take?

Front, side, and back. Men shirt off. Women sports bra or fitted tank. Wear shorts above mid thigh. Stand tall with arms slightly away from your sides.

How does the food scanner work?

Point your phone camera at any meal and the AI identifies the food and estimates calories, protein, carbs, and fat. For packaged foods you can scan the barcode instead.

Is it better than MyFitnessPal?

FitCommit replaces manual food logging with a camera scan. No searching databases, no measuring portions. Point, scan, done. But the real difference is the system. MyFitnessPal is a food logger. FitCommit connects your body scan to your nutrition plan to your future projection to your daily tracking. Everything feeds everything else.

What is the AI After Photo?

A realistic preview of your body at 3, 6, or 12 months. It's built from your body scan data and TDEE plan, not a generic morph. Show up consistently and the projection advances. Skip sessions and it eases back. This is Stage 3 of the system. Your scan builds your plan, and your plan generates this image.

How much does FitCommit cost?

FitCommit offers a free 7-day trial. After that it's $3.99/mo. The complete system is included. Body scan, TDEE plan, After Photo, and food scan. Buying these separately from competitors would cost $50-80/mo. Cancel anytime through your Apple subscription settings.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. Your photos and results are encrypted in transit and at rest. You control what you keep or delete in the app. We do not sell or share your data.

Do I need any equipment?

No. Your phone camera is all you need. No gym visit, no hardware, no wearables.

How often should I scan my body?

Once or twice per week is ideal. Scan at the same time of day in similar lighting for consistent results.

Can I track macros without scanning?

The AI handles it. Point your camera at food or scan a barcode. Your macro targets are set automatically from your body scan and TDEE plan. As your body changes and you rescan, your targets update.

What is the TDEE plan?

TDEE is your Total Daily Energy Expenditure, how many calories your body burns per day. Most apps estimate this from height, weight, and age. FitCommit calculates it from your actual body composition. Your lean mass, fat mass, and body fat percentage from your body scan feed directly into your calorie and macro targets. It's Stage 2 of the system, between your body scan and your After Photo.

How do the features connect?

Everything feeds everything else. Your body scan measures your composition. That data builds your TDEE and macro targets. Your targets generate your After Photo projection. Your daily food scans track against those targets. When you rescan your body, the loop starts again with updated numbers. It's not four separate tools. It's one connected system.

Are workouts included?

Not yet. AI-powered workout programming is coming soon. When it launches, it will plug into the Control stage alongside food tracking, completing the system. Right now the system covers body scanning, nutrition planning, future visualization, and food tracking.
